The Hideout Academy was born out of a simple realization: traditional beauty education wasn’t built for everyone.
After years inside the industry, our founders saw too many talented, creative individuals struggle in rigid environments that prioritized conformity over creativity. They saw students forced to mute their individuality just to “fit the mold,” and they knew something had to change.
What started as conversations inside The Hideout Salon & Lounge quickly turned into a bigger idea—one rooted in inclusivity, real-world experience, and genuine human connection. The Hideout Academy was created to be a space where students don’t have to check parts of themselves at the door.
